As we reflect on the events that made 2023 truly memorable, I find myself returning to those moments that filled me with the deepest sense of pride and accomplishment. From personal achievements to divine connections, each of these moments has contributed to making me the person I am today.

The Moment My Nephew Shone on the Rink

My proudest moment of this year was undoubtedly when my nephew made the hockey team again. Watching that child excel on the ice is a highlight that will stay with me forever. His dedication and talent, coupled with the joy and pride it brought, are something I cherish deeply.

Similarly, in 2017, I took a significant step in my life by purchasing my own house with my boyfriend. This was not just a real estate transaction; it was a symbolic transition into a new chapter of our lives. The pride in owning our own home, a place that would serve as a sanctuary for our growing family, was immense.

A Divine Revelation and Firm Belief

One of the most profound moments in my life came about 51 years ago when I realized that Avatar Meher Baba was a manifestation of God. My belief has only grown stronger with the passage of time, and I have been provided with both internal and external proof to support this conviction. One of the most important discoveries in my life is the assurance that I will go to heaven upon my death. This belief has provided me with a profound sense of peace and inner security. It has shaped my perspective on life and has offered me a beacon of hope.

A Significant Financial Accomplishment

Finishing what I started—paying off my mortgage early—was a significant milestone in my life. This was not just a financial triumph but a symbolic representation of completing a long-term commitment. By putting aside sacrifices like driving old cars and forgoing vacations, I reaped the rewards of a debt-free life. This has brought not only financial security but also a newfound sense of freedom.

The financial aspect was just the tip of the iceberg. Using the freed-up resources, I made the transition to a more comfortable second-hand vehicle. No longer confined to old, unreliable cars, I now drive a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited, a car that reflects my newfound security and prosperity.

My step-daughter has also faced many challenges in recent years. She has been navigating a failed marriage and has had to rebuild her life in a small North Dakota town. Despite the hurdles, she managed to complete her degree and is accepting a dream job offer. Most recently, she has secured a house in a town closer to her family. This is a testament to her resilience and determination.

A Personal Health Milestone

Completing my colonoscopy with a favorable result is another significant achievement. I don’t need another one for ten years, and while it’s not something I achieved through personal exertion, the news gave me immense peace of mind. The support of friends, family, and healthcare professionals has played a crucial role in this.

While the news about my colon is excellent, it is a reminder that life is a journey full of responsibilities and challenges. I am grateful for each small victory and every step forward on this path.
